To liemeaning 2 = to tell the untruth
The present participle form of both verbs is 'lying' (although they have different past forms): that's the key of the joke!. -

Yes, but I've said that if you are reclining you can tell the untruth, but if you tell the untruth you cannot say the truth!
So, it's more probable (3/4 of porobability) that her name is Elda!!!
